Project : develop a database application to support a system approach method to analyse training needs and create training packages.

A complete solution, from requirements analysis to final implementation, has been provided.

The application includes facilities for custom reporting, production of training documentation as a set of Word and Excel documents, decision aids for sequencing and objectives coverage analysis.

The project results in significant reduction of operating costs through optimal use of resources, promotes common methods and exchange of data between member countries, and ensures completion of otherwise extremely time consuming tasks.

Project : assist the European sales/marketing of custom sterile procedure trays. Develop a complete solution from requirements analysis to final implementation and provide a smooth transition from the old application.

The solution allows fast and easy preparation of custom packs on location, optimisation of pack composition for cost and delivery time, packaging waste analysis and multi-criteria sales price quotation.

Powerful digital image capabilities help make attractive product presentations.

An extensive security system prevents unauthorised use and access to critical data. E-mail facilities are built in for data exchange between the factory and the sales people,  and between sales people. The same facilities are used for automated program, database structure and data updates distribution, automated installation, maintenance and monitoring of remote stations.

Object-oriented design has allowed easy adaptation of the application to a constantly changing environment.

Tasks performed : Assistance to the development of the application and optimisation of the search engine performances

Consistent response times of a few tenths of a second are obtained with a catalogue of over 1M articles, down from a few tens of seconds to a few minutes in some cases.

Belgian Publisher of a database on CD-ROM with information on building professionals

 

Project : upgrade the database to allow integration of VAT data files.

Design a new database structure to upgrade from a flat file of 100.000 companies to a relational database design with more than 1 million companies. Design specific modules to import data from multiple sources of information. Performance optimisation.

Assistance to the development of a new application has been provided..

The new design improves response times and allows the complete database to fit on a CD-ROM while accommodating the 10-fold increase in number of companies

Project : Integrate multiple local databases used by Logistic, Quality Control and Customer Service departments, in a single database linked to the headquarters’ mainframe database.

Requirements analysis, database design, data import/export modules.

The application uses OLE Automation with Excel and Word and imports data from a daily download from the company AS400.

Project : Develop an application for the management of recruitment tests. The application must allow the development of tests, their execution and the production of statistical analysis.

Requirements analysis, production of a database model, and implementation of a prototype of the application interface.

Project : participate to the development of a Foxpro for Windows application for Sales and Distribution Management.

The distribution network covers 135000 sales outlets in 76 provinces and more than 2.000 districts. The sales network includes 110 distributors, and approximately 850 vehicles operating from more than 10 warehouses.

Project : development of a commercial application for the management of transport documents and invoicing in a transport company.

Development of a complete application, multi-lingual, adapted to the requirements of the Belgian market.

The application helped the company double the number of trucks with the same administrative staff

Miscellaneous Association membership management :mailing lists, payments of membership dues and services provided.

Production of pedigrees and show management for associations of breeders. Exhibitor registrations, show catalogue, payments, production of all documents before, during and after the exhibition.
